Here is the track "Step Aside" from my ArtistShare® project CONCERTO FOR FOLDED SPACE. All of the pieces are based programmatically on my sci-fi novel THE DOVER STONE.

On "Step Aside" we hear from magnificent guest vocalist Jason Scheff from the super group Chicago, myself on trombone, the mighty trombone group Maniacal 4 and of course: my group, The Eclectric Band: Stockton Helbing: drums, Daniel Pardo: flutes, Noel Johnston and Ryan Davidson: guitars, and Braylon Lacy: bass.

Here is the programatic back story from my book THE DOVER STONE (can't know the jam without a program!)

Air-in Hart enjoys an idyllic childhood in Glastonbury, Illinois that is shattered by divorce and the loss of her beloved dog, Lady. After moving to Greenwich Village in Manhattan to live with her eccentric Aunt Millie and pursue a degree in creative writing at The New School, life starts looking pretty good for Air-in until the carnivorous aliens known as The Baradyan Fellowship take over the entire Earth in less than 30 minutes. Leading a pacifist underground organization (literally) Air-in does her best to save humanity, one slave at a time. Is she successful?

( you REALLY want to buy the book, no?)
